New World Job is a website that accepts applications from foreigners staying in Korea who wish to find employment, as well as domestic businesses looking for talent; we verify the requirements and introduce them to each other. It is available in 10 languages: Korean, English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Uzbek, Russian, Nepali, Japanese, and Arabic.
Target Users
- Foreign Job Seekers: Individuals staying in Korea with a residence status that allows employment. This includes F-2 (Residency), F-4 (Overseas Korean), F-5 (Permanent Residency), F-6 (Marriage Migrant), E-7 (Specific Activities) visa holders, as well as D-2 (Student) and D-10 (Job Seeking) visa holders preparing for employment after graduation.
- Hiring Companies: Domestic businesses looking for foreign or domestic talent.
- Domestic Job Seekers: Can apply by registering as a domestic job seeker on the Korean language interface.
E-9 (Non-professional Employment), H-2 (Working Visit), and E-8 (Seasonal Worker) personnel can only be hired through public procedures such as employment centers, so New World Job does not provide introductions for them. In these cases, the Hwang Yunsang administrative agent (administrative scrivener) office provides document preparation/filing services for the employment permit application and required attachments.
How to Use New World Job
- Language Selection: Select your preferred language using the language button at the top right of the screen. A flag is displayed next to each language.
- Job Seeker Registration (Foreign Job Seekers): Click “Job Seeker Registration” on the main screen and submit your desired occupation, visa status, and contact information. You can submit by using only “Simple Input,” but providing more details such as work experience and preferred conditions through “Detailed Input” will help us find workplaces that match your requirements.
- Company Recruitment Registration (Hiring Companies): In “Company Recruitment Registration,” enter and submit recruitment conditions such as the required occupation, number of employees, workplace location, and wages.
- Consultation and Verification: We will contact you after reviewing the submitted information. We verify the recruitment conditions and the permit/registration status of the workplace. For foreign job seekers, we verify whether their visa status allows employment via their Alien Registration Card.
- Introduction and Interview: We introduce matching job seekers and workplaces to each other and coordinate interview schedules.
- Labor Contract and Introduction Fee: After a labor contract is signed, an introduction fee is collected according to the Introduction Fee Agreement. The fee is determined within the upper limit set by the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s “Public Notice on Domestic Paid Job Placement Fees, etc.,” and fees from job seekers are only collected if agreed upon in writing in advance.
In the “Registration Status” on the main screen, you can check the number of registrations by field and visa status. In the “Visa/Employment Bulletin Board,” you can check the scope of employment and recruitment procedures by visa status. The information you submit is used only for consultation and introductions, and only the number of registrations by field is displayed on the website.
Administrative Agent Office Services
If you need to change the status of residence, change the place of employment, or apply for a visa issuance confirmation along with hiring a foreign national, you may enter into a service contract with Hwang Yunsang Administrative Agent Office separately from the job placement contract, and we will handle the preparation and filing of applications on your behalf. We also assist in preparing supporting documents, such as statements of reasons for employment.
