Procedure
- Notification Difficulty Low
You submit the statutory report form and required documents. Once the documents are in order the report is accepted; for some reports the authority checks the contents before accepting it.
- 01
Calculate capacity and area: Have an office, kitchen, dining room and group guidance rooms (2 or more rooms) separately, and calculate with the building register area whether the combined exclusive area is 82.5㎡ or more and 3.3㎡ or more per child.
- 02
Check building use and lease conditions: Before signing, confirm with the competent department that the building use is suitable for a child welfare facility, and if leasing, check that the remaining lease period is sufficient. Locating it in multi-unit housing requires prior consultation.
- 03
Check qualifications of the facility head and staff: The facility head must have a level 2 or higher social worker qualification and 3 years of child-related social welfare experience (or 5 years of social welfare experience), among other requirements. Nurses, dietitians and others need 5 or more years of social welfare experience after obtaining their qualifications.
- 04
Prepare and submit the installation report: Attach the facility floor plan, operation plan, budget and operating rules, and staff qualification documents to the report and submit it to the child welfare department of the city, county or district.
- 05
On-site check and acceptance: The department checks the site, and if it requests supplementation, the report is accepted after supplementing within the set period.
