Procedure
Procedure
- Appeal Difficulty High
Submitting an opinion, objection or administrative appeal against a disposition or decision already made, or applying for damage relief or dispute mediation. The reviewing body decides after examining the facts and the law, so preparing supporting evidence is important.
We will prepare an appeal form and an administrative appeal request form regarding the determination of the degree of disability. We will review prior appeal records and medical evidence to determine the actual process to be followed.

- 01
Check the reason in the decision notice: First determine whether the reason stated in the notice is insufficient medical certificates or test results, or a difference in interpreting the disability severity standards. Reapply if materials were insufficient, and choose an objection or administrative appeal if it is a matter of interpretation.
- 02
Calculate the deadlines: The objection deadline is 90 days from learning of the decision, and the administrative appeal deadline is 90 days from learning of the disposition or 180 days from the disposition. Record both deadlines on a calendar based on the date you received the notice.
- 03
Supplement supporting evidence: In addition to the specialist's disability certificate and test results, gather medical records, treatment and rehabilitation history, and materials showing functional limitations in daily life. For developmental disabilities, special class records, school records and teacher opinions serve as grounds for functional assessment.
- 04
Prepare and submit the objection: Organize which item of the severity standards you believe applies and the supporting evidence, and submit the objection to the town or district office of your address. Once received, the National Pension Service reviews the case again.
- 05
File an administrative appeal: If you still disagree after the objection or want to dispute separately from the objection, prepare and submit an administrative appeal petition. If you disagree with the appeal ruling, you may proceed to an administrative lawsuit within 90 days of receiving the written ruling.

If you file only an objection when there is diagnostic material to supplement, or let the 90-day objection and appeal deadlines pass while preparing a reapplication, you can no longer dispute the existing decision, so sort out the reason first and then choose the route.
