Procedure
Procedure
- Registration Difficulty Medium
The authority checks whether the statutory registration requirements, such as facilities, staff and capital, are met before issuing a registration certificate. Registration can be refused if the requirements are not met.
- 01
Check registration requirements: Check whether the beneficiaries are unspecified members of the public and whether there is no profit distribution among members. Registration is not possible if the main purpose is supporting a political party or elected-office candidate or spreading a particular religious doctrine.
- 02
Check members and activity record: Check whether there are 100 or more regular members and at least 1 year of recent public-interest activity. The member list must show each member's name, date of birth, address and joining date.
- 03
Determine the registration authority: Organizations with a project scope and offices in 2 or more cities or provinces register with a central administrative agency, and others with the city or province of the main office. If the office and project scope are only within a special city with a population of 1 million or more, register with that special city.
- 04
Prepare documents: Prepare the bylaws, minutes of the general meetings of the current and previous year, a business plan, a revenue and expenditure budget, the previous year's settlement of accounts, an organization profile and an activity record. Attach the attendance sign-in sheet and photos of the meeting to the general meeting minutes.
- 05
Application and on-site inspection: After the application, registration is decided within 20 days including an on-site inspection, and a registration certificate is issued. A residential space used as an office is hard to have recognized at the on-site inspection.
- 06
Changes after registration: If the name, main project, representative or location changes, apply for a change of registration. When changing the name or main project, submit the amended bylaws together.
