- Appeal Difficulty High
Submitting an opinion, objection or administrative appeal against a disposition or decision already made, or applying for damage relief or dispute mediation. The reviewing body decides after examining the facts and the law, so preparing supporting evidence is important.
We will prepare the administrative appeal request and necessary suspension documents for the superintendent's school violence measures. We also distinguish the scope of inclusion in cases where the main case and suspension of execution are carried out together.

- 01
Check the notice and deadline: From the superintendent's notice of the measure, confirm the measure number, the period for compliance, the hours of special education, and the date the notice was received, then calculate the appeal deadline as a specific date.
- 02
Obtain the deliberation records: Request disclosure of the committee's meeting minutes and obtain the case investigation results and other materials the decision was based on, to see whether there were errors in the facts found or in how the measure was decided.
- 03
Identify the points to contest: Measures are decided by scoring the seriousness, persistence and intent of the violence, the offending student's remorse, and the degree of reconciliation, so separate the facts that were found incorrectly from the parts where the scoring does not hold up.
- 04
File the appeal and the stay application: Submit the appeal to the provincial office of education's administrative appeals commission through the Online Administrative Appeals system or in writing, and for measures that are hard to undo once carried out, such as a transfer, suspension from attendance or class change, file an application for a stay of execution together with it.
- 05
Rebut the response and submit supplementary briefs: When the education office's response arrives, submit a supplementary brief rebutting it fact by fact and factor by factor, adding remorse and reconciliation materials such as an apology letter or counseling completion records. The victim's side must state its intention to intervene within the deadline after receiving the notice in order to submit its views.
- 06
After the decision: As a rule, the decision is issued within 60 days of the commission receiving the appeal and may be extended by 30 days. If the measure is revoked or changed, confirm that the school records are updated accordingly.
